Leticia Vazquez

Leticia Vazquez-Mellado joined HelmsBriscoe in 2007. She is Director, Global Accounts and is based in Mexico City, Mexico. Her background includes experience working for Four Seasons Mexico City and Four Seasons Punta Mita, and she currently partners with a variety of brands in her role with HelmsBriscoe. Lety has more than 25 years of international experience in site selection, hotel sales, and marketing. She has organized and executed corporate events, social gatherings, and incentive trips, as well as cultural, art, and gastronomic learning experiences. Her site selection and meeting management experience includes diverse clients ranging from national to international corporate organizations.

When working with her clients, Lety provides site selection, negotiation, and contractual expertise, as well as well-developed supplier relations with hotels, restaurants, CVBs, convention centers, and DMCs. She helps her clients effectively communicate business needs to all suppliers involved in creating and executing their programs. She keeps updated on the most current contract clauses and works to secure the best terms and conditions, while also adapting to the cultural nuances that come with doing business internationally. Lety is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. She received a BA in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, as well as a Certificate in Special Studies (CSS) in Administration and Management from Harvard University´s Extension School in Boston, Massachusetts.
