Cristina Bastow joined HelmsBriscoe in August of 2019, and is based out of Starkville, Mississippi. With more than 15 years of industry experience, she began her career as General Manager for various brands, including Choice, Hilton and Marriott properties. Cristina later got promoted to Business Travel Manager for six properties, then to Area Director of Sales for various markets.
In addition to providing training, guidance and coaching within operations and sales departments, Cristina also worked to implement sales strategies, grow revenue, and increase market share. During her years in the hotel industry, she won multiple awards for Director of Sales of the Year, General Manager of the Year, and was awarded for Most Improved RevPAR among 45 properties owned and managed by Peachtree Hotel Group. Cristina enjoys spending time with her family, attending SEC games, cooking, and traveling.
