Craig Gordon joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2024 and is based out of sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. With more than 20 years of industry experience, it was a circuitous route back to HelmsBriscoe. Born with an entrepreneurial spirit, Craig owned and operated a small breakfast and lunch restaurant for over seven years, learning the ropes of business and the fabric of the Scottsdale community. His hotel career began in 1996 and ended after 17 continuous years at JW Marriott Camelback Inn. In 2016, Craig moved into tech sales, successfully selling Yelp to mid-market companies. With the onset of remote work during the pandemic, his priorities changed. Craig continued to work with tech until ultimately yearning to get back to his roots in hospitality with HelmsBriscoe.

Craig brings a unique perspective to his clients, understanding the needs of event planners, attendees, sales, operations, and revenue management. A homebody, Craig has been married to Barb for almost 35 years, and they have two grown kids living in the Phoenix area. Besides enjoying playing guitar and relaxing on a hot, sunny afternoon, Craig has hiked Camelback Mountain over 4,000 times since 1989! Craig’s commitment helps clients succeed, and he looks forward to using his deep industry connections and vast experience to ensure the right events are matched with the right properties.
