Dan Gassel

I am a Regional Manager for HelmsBriscoe, coming onboard in March of 2004. My responsibilities include hotel site selection, contract negotiation, and meetings management.

Prior to HelmsBriscoe, my career in the meeting, planning, and travel industry included valuable time learning what's most important to my customers in the cruise, hotel and association business. I have enjoyed my roles of Regional Director of Sales and Travel Account Executive for Clipper Cruise Line, Travel the Continents, and Maritz Travel Company; as well as my role of Director of Development for Easter Seals. I am a past recipient of the Tradition of Service Excellence Award from Maritz Travel Company in St. Louis for my meeting planning work with Chevron Oil. From 1988 to 1995, while with Clipper Cruise Line, my duties were as diverse as Cruise Director for three years at sea, to Director of Sales, promoting our world-wide itineraries to university alumni, medical and natural history associations. With its resources and respected place within the industry, HelmsBriscoe is a great fit with my experience and creativity to provide my customers the orchestration of a memorable and value-added meeting experience.
