Dawn Wilks

Dawn Wilks joined the HelmsBriscoe team in February 2011 as a Regional Manager affiliated with the Dallas, Texas office. Her primary client base is the Entertainment Industry. She assists Reality TV and film production and travel coordinators as well as meeting and event planners secure hotel accommodations for their upcoming projects. She is very excited to offer her services and knowledge at no cost to her clients, making their hotel searches stress-free. Dawn has a B.A. in Television-Radio Production with a minor in Marketing. She began her career as a producer/production director and quickly moved up to Vice President of Operations for a satellite training network where she produced 52 programs a year. She spent two years gaining knowledge of the hospitality industry by working closely in the office of a HelmsBriscoe Regional Manager as a personal assistant. Dawn researched, developed and initiated production correspondences that helped to triple her Regional Manager’s numbers. Dawn’s favorite quote is “It’s not what you know, but who you know” in the Entertainment Industry.
