Ellen Landes joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2023. Based out of Qatar, she assists local and international companies with venue sourcing for their meetings and events. She has an MSc in events management, a postgraduate degree in sport management, and CPD accreditation in international etiquette and protocol.
With 16 years of experience in hospitality and events across the USA, Egypt, UAE, and Qatar, Ellen has worked with reputable names in the industry, including Celebrity Cruises, Movenpick, and Rotana planning social, corporate, and diplomatic events. After moving to Qatar four years ago, Ellen worked on prestigious mega projects, including the FIFA Arab Cup 2021, FIFA World Cup 2022, and World Aquatics Championships 2024. She has extensive knowledge of hotels and special event venues in Qatar and has built strong relationships with local hoteliers that enable her to effectively and efficiently assist her clients.
