Helen Alcroft joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2022. Based out of Manchester, England, Helen works closely with each client to ensure their meeting requests are matched to the best venue options. Helen will negotiate for competitive prices and will always look for added value options. She strives to have clients who not only return time and time again for their next events, but who also recommend her services to friends and colleagues. Helen has contacts throughout the UK with DMCs, teambuilding and event companies, as well as visitor attractions/restaurants, which can benefit her clients greatly. Her clients have included SMEs, key corporate accounts, and government contracts.
Prior to joining HB, Helen worked for 20 years at the director level for a leisure group tour operator, MICE agent, and golf group organizer. During this time, Helen specialized in inbound groups to the UK from the USA and Europe, and she often used unusual venues to create memorable group experiences. She also has over 10 years of sales and marketing experience working for a hotel company, which included luxury independent properties, as well as worldwide branded hotels. Helen coordinated the AA Rosette training for the hotels’ restaurants, which ensured the highest brand standards and levels of customer satisfaction. Outside of work, Helen has volunteered for over 10 years for the NSPCC charity where she has helped organize many fundraising and golfing events.
