Jan Tolle MacDonald

Jan Tolle MacDonald joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2017. Based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jan has spent her entire career in the hospitality, meetings and travel industry. Most recently, she was with Travel Alberta as their Midwest U.S. Business Development Director. In this role she inspired planners to consider Alberta for their meetings and events. Jan is well known for her impact on the meetings industry. She is an inductee to the Minnesota Meetings + Events Hall of Fame, where she was recognized for her determination, ingenuity and contribution to the meetings and events industry in the state of Minnesota. Jan has earned the CMP, CMM and CIS industry certifications, and with her knowledge and personalized service, she can assist her clients with her sharp negotiation experience.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Jan has worked at the Bloomington Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Northwestern Business Travel in various capacities. She has strong experience in destination management, hotel negotiations, account management, training and customer service. Jan is a former President of the MPI MN Chapter and has a degree from Augsburg College. Jan has the expertise, finesse, drive and diligence to get the job done, exceeding expectations all the way. She is outgoing, personable, determined and ready to assist you with your hotel meeting needs.
