Kathleen Montemayor

Kathy Montemayor, CGMP, joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2019. Based out of San Antonio, Texas, Kathy is excited to share her industry expertise with her clients. Her mission is to use her event management experience to find the best venues and negotiate a customized contract for her clients' specific event needs. Kathy utilizes her extensive knowledge of the meeting and hotel industry, along with her strong organizational skills, to ensure no details are overlooked.

Kathy received a bachelor's degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin, and has more than 20 years of experience coordinating events for multiple clients. In 2020, she achieved the Society of Government Meeting Professionals' Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) designation and also earned a Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Faculty of Executive Education at Florida Atlantic University's College of Business. Kathy also serves on the board of her local chapter of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals. With her background and industry knowledge, Kathy can understand and anticipate her clients' meeting needs, ensuring that finding the best location for your next event will never be easier.
