Kenneth Ramirez

Based out of San Diego, California, Kenneth Ramirez worked with HB for several years as an assistant to Janet Caine, Senior Director, Global Accounts, who has 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry. In 2024, he became a Manager, Global Accounts and specializes in searching for conference and meeting venues, as well as connecting his clients to hotel and resort partners across the globe.

Prior to joining HB, Ken designed a special major BS degree in maricultural science for the California State University system through Humboldt State University. He was then asked to support high school teachers in connecting academics with the real-world application of the sciences, which resulted in his obtaining a teaching credential and dedicating his career to education. During his time in education, Ken developed and implemented the CFASST and BTSA programs in several areas of California. He also helped to design and implement an educational peer mentoring program and career tech health and medical education programs. After 38 years of teaching science and acting as a head coach for multiple sports teams at the primary, secondary, and community college levels, Kenneth retired to pursue the next phase of his career in the hospitality industry.
