Marissa Lee

Marissa Lee joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2021. Based out of Sarasota, Florida, she is a customer-focused team player with a goal of exceeding client expectations while collaborating with other HB Associates. Marissa is passionate about working with people, understanding their needs, bringing creative ideas to the table, and making sure that her clients' goals and objectives are met every time. Among her clients and colleagues, she is known for her integrity, resourcefulness, and highly organized approach.

With more than 12 years of industry experience, Marissa worked as a Meeting Planner for a third-party event planning company where she was in charge of full-service operations for clients in the medical services, retail, and entertainment industries. Her time as a program manager taught her about all aspects of events, as well as how to understand what meeting planners want and need when finding hotels and venues. Marissa has her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) license. She is also a member of MPI and works closely with the Tampa Bay chapter. She attended both the University of Georgia and Metropolitan State University of Denver where she was a part of the first class to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Event and Meeting Management.
