Michelle Barnard-Brito joined the HelmsBriscoe team in 2022 and has more than 15 years of hotel experience. She launched her hospitality career in Johannesburg, South Africa, working in front desk and reservations, and continued in London, UK, where she worked in sales roles at The Ritz London, Wyndham, and InterContinental. During this time, Michelle built strong relationships and assisted clients in successfully executing their events.
Michelle made the move to the US in 2016 where she worked for InterContinental Hotels of San Francisco until 2021. Michelle is a problem solver, detail oriented, and a great communicator. She cares greatly about her clients and her relationships with hotel partners and always strives to make a memorable and enjoyable experience for all. Michelle is an active member of Meeting Professionals International. In her free time, she enjoys playing in tennis leagues and spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs.
