Rachel Dobbs joined the HelmsBriscoe team in 2013 after graduating from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors of Arts in Global and International Studies. Based out of Lawrence, KS, Rachel carries herself with a confidence born from many years' experience in a wide range of industries, extensive travel to over 50 countries, and from living abroad. Returning to school as a non-traditional student contributes to her understanding of how to manage accounts and run a business under the pretext of globalization. In addition, Rachel brings a unique blend of professionalism and candidness that put Clients at ease.

Rachel has offered her services as a volunteer for over 30 years, and has made a name for herself as a caring citizen in her community. Professionally, Rachel has worked in the entertainment industry in various capacities, including as an in-house travel agent at a successful Miami Beach, FL production company. Rachel also has over 15 years' experience servicing Clients in the spa industry, and she owned a skin care salon, is a regional trainer for an industry leader, and led regional sales for two product lines during her years as a licensed esthetician. With that same entrepreneurial spirit, Rachel has jumped effortlessly into the world of meeting planning and is excited to bring her successful strategies to her new team. She arrives with extensive social capital due to her "knows no stranger" disposition and diverse experience and industries background. Rachel has managed events for private entities as well as for non-profits. As a reliable, organized, go-getter, with a can-do attitude, Rachel will no doubt enable you to put your best foot forward when planning your events. Her ability to overcome obstacles and turn no's into yes's will serve her Clients well. Add that to the fact that she puts her Clients' needs first ,and what you have is a recipe for a successful event and a happy Client. Her ability to get the job done is a testament to her organizational skills and her tenacity to see things through to the end.
