Rachel Lawty

Rachel Lawty joined HelmsBriscoe in 2016 and is based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Rachel is very experienced in working with clients to source the best venues for their events. She has considerable experience in sales and marketing, and has worked with well-respected hotel chains. Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe, she worked as a Business Development Manager in a busy city centre hotel. With more than 30 years of industry experience, she has exceptional knowledge of conference and accommodation sales, having worked both Swallow and Paramount Hotels. She also understands hotel operations as she began her career in hotel management.

Throughout her career, Rachel has worked with the following sectors: law, housing, sport, pharmaceutical, finance, banking, telecommunications, education, multinational corporations and associations. She understands every event is unique and has its own specific needs. Rachel has considerable experience working with clients, listening carefully to what is important to them, and then locating the most suitable venues for them to choose from. Rachel fully believes the main foundation to working with clients is built on trust, honesty, reliability and loyalty.
