Susan Gibbs

Susan Gibbs joined HelmsBriscoe in 1997 as Regional Director for the Washington, DC metro team. Now working out of the Chicago area as Senior Director, Global Accounts, she is responsible for several diverse accounts providing extensive research and site solutions. Susan is particularly experienced with international meetings, understanding global trends and business cultures.

Susan works alongside her HB clients as part of their team and is committed to providing them with excellent personal service. As a negotiator on their behalf, she always goes the extra mile to ensure the best venue at the best price while securing the most favorable contractual terms. Her expertise and service extends to all sizes of meetings and events. In these times of economic ups and downs, striving to save time and money for her clients has been a clear goal and Susan’s success. She is an 8 time winner of the President’s Club Award as a HelmsBriscoe top producer.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota, majoring in languages, Susan has over 20 years in the hospitality and meetings industry. Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe, Susan held senior positions with BI, Inc (Business Incentives) managing meetings and incentive programs for Fortune 500 companies as well as head of an international travel company and client liaison for Air France.
