Shelly Hinek joined HelmsBriscoe in 2010 as a Director, Global Accounts. Shelly is based in San Diego, CA, however has clients located in many different locations around the globe. Shelly specializes in finding the perfect hotel for her clients for their domestic and international needs. Shelly truly enjoys meeting new people and discovering how she can support her clients in site selection, negotiating and best of all making their events as successful as possible.
Shelly Hinek started in the hospitality business during college. Shelly attended North Eastern State University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with Emphasis in Meeting Planning and Convention Tradeshow. Over the past 23 years, Shelly has held positions as an event planning professional and as a hotel sales professional. Having the experience as a professional event director has enabled Shelly to understand what the event planner finds valuable and how to work with the hotels to effectively manage the sales process to ensure success. This combination makes HelmsBriscoe a perfect career for Shelly.
