Sara McWilliams

Sara McWilliams joined HelmsBriscoe in 2005. In her role as Senior Director, Global Accounts, Sara customizes solutions for her clients’ meeting and event needs. She is responsible for hotel site selection, contract negotiations, and facilitating the client and hotel relationship, and she is committed to saving her clients valuable time and money while exceeding their expectations. Sara appreciates her valued clients in the sports, corporate, non-profit, and associations markets, and she looks forward to assisting any organizations in need of hotel site selection services.

Sara graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in hotel and restaurant management and continued her hospitality studies at Switzerland's International College of Hospitality. She also took public relations courses at American University and spent 12 years working in various cities throughout the US for Marriott International, ARAMARK Conference Centers, and an independent hotel. She volunteers for a local youth group and has been involved in numerous community service events, including The Wardrobe, Ukraine Community Service Project, Cathedral Kitchen, Joseph’s House, Autism Awareness, Booksmiles, Harvest Festival, Senior Thanksgiving Dinner, Foster Families of NJ, Collection for Homeless, Heart of Surfing, Ronald McDonald House, Paul Newman Hole in the Wall Special Needs Camp, Unified Sports Sponsorship Committee, and others. She has also served on a variety of boards and committees with PCMA Philadelphia and New York. When Sara is not working, she enjoys traveling, going on hikes in Poconos, visiting local wineries with her girlfriends, or hosting small, themed dinners with her husband in their home.
